- The purpose of the communications process and board is to ensure communications are coordinated with other communications, consistent in format and message, documented in a comms calendar, and that all stakeholders involved are included.

- Meets two times per week to review comm requests and manage active requests

- Communications over 50 non-vuit users

- Engage early!
- Engage the team early for the best outcome.By engaging early the right message can be crafted, messages can be approved, distribution lists can be verified, etc.
- Additional time may be needed for enterprise comms from Marcomm, Student Affairs, or Faculty Affairs
