See this Zoom Article on the basics of joining a Zoom meeting. Although the email you receive from your course directors/coordinators may not be formatted the same as those shown in the article, you should receive a URL that will take you to your meeting.
If you have not already downloaded the Zoom app, you will be prompted to download and install it when you click a join link. You can also join a test meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom ahead of time.
