Application Installation Using Company Portal

Audience: Faculty, Staff, Researchers, Students
  1. Open the Start Menu and search for the Company Portal application
    Start Menu, Company Portal
    Please note, if your workstation is not a VUIT-managed workstation, the Company Portal will not be accessible.
  2. Various applications will appear for installation upon it opening
  3. Use the Search box at the top middle of the Company Portal to narrow your search resultsCompany Portal, App Search
    Visio Plan 2 is being used for the above example.
    The applications that can be used for the Company Portal to install an application can vary.

  4. Click on your application from the results of the search

  5. Should your application not appear, click the Settings icon in the bottom left of the Company Portal

  6. Click SyncCompany Portal, Sync Button
  7. Try the search again
  8. Once found, click Install to begin installing your application
  9. Company Portal, Install ButtonThe installation of your application will begin and depending upon the size of the application, may take some time to complete
  10. The Installation may also be monitored from the Downloads & Updates area in the Company PortalCompany Portal, Downloads & Updates
