Cloud Account Management

Service Description

VUIT Cloud Services manages Vanderbilt's Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud spaces on behalf of the entire university. The Cloud Services team handles creation, access, baseline logging and monitoring implementation, funding source tracking, and decommissioning for accounts (AWS) and subscriptions (Azure). VUIT Cloud Services also assists in migrating accounts or subscriptions from other institutions into Vanderbilt's cloud spaces. This service is available to Vanderbilt University faculty and staff.

• If you need to access an existing account, click on the "Cloud Account Access" button to the right. 
• If you need to create a new cloud account, click on the "Cloud Account Creation" button on the right. 
• If you need to decommission your cloud account or subscription, click on the "Cloud Account or Subscription Decommissioning" button on the right. 
• If you need to transfer ownership for a cloud account or subscription, click on the "Cloud Account or Subscription Ownership Transfer" button on the right. 
• If you need to update the COA or POET associated with your existing cloud account, click on the "Cloud COA or POET Updates" button on the right. 
• If you would like to speak to someone about your cloud services options and pricing, click on the "Cloud Services Consultation & Pricing Quote" button on the right. 

How do I get the service?

Prior to requesting this service, you will need: 

• A valid COA or POET number.
• A Data User Agreement (DUA) link or relevant details if one is associated with the workload you wish to put in the cloud.
• Know whether or not your intended use will require a private network connection back to Vanderbilt’s campus.
