Use this form to request new account. For more information on each account type and to ensure you are requesting the correct one, please review the information available in the service description before submitting a new request.
Alumni Account
For alumni who do not have an existing VUnetID
Dual ID Account
For individuals with a primary affiliation to VUMC who are approved to access VU resources that require a VUnetID.
Early Access Account
Used to request access for students, faculty, or staff prior to their actual start date.
Emeritus/Emerita
Faculty who have been designated emeritus/retired faculty are eligible to be provided for-life access to their VUnetID and email address.
Resource Account
An account that represents a non-human entity used for accessing systems and applications. Allows for resource management that isn't tied to individuals.
Temporary Account
An individual user account for guests, contractors, or other individuals that have a business or academic relationship with the university but are not employees. It could also include an emergency account created on a temporary basis for testing purposes or to remediate an imminent threat to the university. These accounts require sponsorship from a Vanderbilt paid employee.
TLA Account
Used for privileged access to applications, services, or Active Directory administrative rights. While a TLA does not have any inherent standard privileges applied at creation, they typically will gather enhanced access and permissions once assigned.
Other
Any account which does not fall into one of the previous categories.
