Service Description

SRFS is the preferred Vanderbilt IT service for outbound SMTP relay from systems/devices. Only qualified systems that are registered with the SRFS service are allowed to use the service.

How do I get the service?

To access this service, follow these steps:

  1. Review the related knowledge articles for further information.
  2. For help, select the "Request Service" button on this page.
  3. Fill in the form with all the required information.

      1. Name
      2. Department

      4. Phone
    2. Physical System Owner
      1. Name
      2. Department
      3. Email Address

    3. Host Information DNS Name
    4. Hostname that uniquely identifies the device
    5. IP Address - Must Be Static
    6. Physical Location of Relay Host
    7. SRFS Device Type
    8. Description of Application - Include OS, Patch Level, etc. for Servers
    9. Emergency On-Call Contact Information
    10. Confidential Information Transmitted (Yes/No)
