Roles have been categorized into two groups: Major and Minor.

  • Major Roles: Include functional privileges to initiate or approve transactions.

  • Minor Roles: Provide view-only access to functional pages and reports.

Availability

Roles can be denoted one of two ways: Active or Deprecated

  • Active: Roles are readily available for provisioning based on eligibility criteria.

  • Deprecated: Roles are no longer available for requests, except in rare circumstances where specific data access is required.

Included Roles and Provisioning Method

Provisioning of a role package may, in some circumstances, require the assignment of multiple roles to a user account. These roles may also require varying provision methods. In such cases, the provisioning method’s essential role for functional transactions and data access is referenced. Procedures to support each provisioning method are available in internal documentation.
