The purpose of this article is to detail the process for connecting personal devices, also know as "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD), to the classroom technology podium.

You must have a personal (BYOD) device with an HDMI or USB-C port
The device must comply with BYOD Policy
The steps below cover how to get your Mac or PC connected to the classroom podium for output to the projector. The classroom technology is controlled by the Crestron Touchscreen Panel located on the podium.
HDMI or USB-C Connections
Turn on the projector by selecting power on the Crestron Touchscreen Panel.
Determine whether your computer has an HDMI port or a USB-C port to connect to the podium's cable.

Be sure to have your Operating System (OS) updated to avoid any compatibility issues. If you're unable to get the output to function properly, select "Help Request" on the bottom left of the touch screen (only once) and a help ticket will be generated alerting VUIT Classroom Technology.
