This article explains how to reset an expired VU password.

Resolution or Procedure Steps

  1. Click this link to reset your password, signing in with your current VUnetID and password: VU Identity  .

  1. If you can complete the process, please allow one hour for your VU email and Duo accounts to be re-activated. 

  1. If you are not able to sign in, we will need to re-authenticate your account.  

  1. To change a VU Gmail password: 

  • Please go to: VU Identity  

  • Click the 3-line or “waffle” icon in the top left near "Home." 

  • Open End User Tools and select Set VU Gmail Password.

  • Enter and set your new password. 

  • If you are not able to create a new password, please see step 3 above. 

Additional Information

  • Keep your VU password current.

  • Pay attention to reminder emails.

  • VU passwords must be reset annually.

  • Save time by resetting your password while it is still active: VU Identity
